7/3/20 COMPLAINT EMAIL FROM KATHLEEN KINGSNORTH REGARDING EMPLOYEE AND CUSTOMERS WITHOUT MASKS.
7-6-20 PHONED AND TALKED TO MANAGER SARAH WESSELS REGARDING MASK POLICY. SHE SAID ALL EMPLOYEES ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR MASKS AS PART OF THEIR DRESS CODE. MANAGERS ARE MONITORING BUT IT IS AN ONGOING SITUATION TO KEEP UP WITH. AS FAR AS CUSTOMERS, THERE ARE SIGNS POSTED AT THE DOOR AND EMPLOYEES DO ASK THEM TO PUT IT ON. SOMETIMES PEOPLE TAKE THEM OFF WHEN THEY ENTER THE STORE. THEY DO NOT ASK THEM TO PUT ONE ON ONCE THEY ARE IN THE STORE. SHE SAID SINCE THE POLICE WILL NOT DO ANYTHING IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO ENFORCE. THEY DO NOT REFUSE THEM ENTRANCE IF THEY DO NOT HAVE A MASK ON. A CUSTOMER PULLED A GUN ON THE EMPLOYEE AT THE DOOR WHO ASKED HIM TO PUT ON HIS MASK. 7-7-20 TALKED TO COMPLAINANT AND RELAYED THE INFORMATION FROM THE WALMART MANAGER. SHE SAID SHE HAS NOTICED OTHER RETAIL STORES ALSO WITH NO MASKS ON THE CUSTOMERS. I EXPRESSED OUR FRUSTRATION AND THE FRUSTRATION OF THE WALMART MANAGER. SHE SAID THANK YOU FOR LOOKING INTO THE MATTER AND WAS SURPRISED TO GET A CALL BACK FROM THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT. |
